Best Places to Experience Fall Colors in and Around the Inland Empire

California may not experience seasons the way other states experience them, but that does not mean that the state is completely devoid of the beauty of fall. Just like other parts of the country, the days have become shorter and shorter, and due to the decreasing amount of sunlight, leaves are not producing enough chlorophyll, and voila, California experiences Fall in all its glory too!

Since residents of the Golden Gate essentially miss out on all other seasons, this is a pretty big deal, and our Inland limo service specialists have taken the initiative to compile a list of some of the best places in and around the Inland Empire for you to go leaf peeping.

As you go out on your fall foliage viewing adventure, we recommend employing the services of our limo service in Corona for all your transportation needs. Our professionally trained and friendly chauffeurs have an intimate knowledge of the Inland Empire and its vicinities and will transfer you and your companions from pristine site to pristine site. All you have to do is relax, enjoy our luxury amenities, and marvel at all the colors whisking past you, bringing you closer and closer to your next destination.

The Grassy Hollow Visitor Centre

Head over to Arcadia and visit the Grassy Hollow Visitor Centre. Grassy Hollow is only open over the weekends between 10 am and 4 pm and is an extremely popular leaf peeping location amongst the locals. Grassy Hollow offers visitors a thick canopy of brightly colored oak trees and nature trails such as the Lightning Ridge Trail, carpeted with fallen pine cones and acorns. Pick up a brochure and take a self-guided tour with your closest mates through the forest where you will find pristine views of the mountain side covered in yellow, orange, red, and green like you have never seen in Southern California before.

Yosemite National Park

You will find the Yosemite National Park in the Sierra Nevada Mountains; this National Park extends over Tuolumne, Mariposa, and Madera counties and covers a space of over 700,000 acres. Yosemite National Park is picture perfect throughout the year, but she is especially beautiful during the Fall season, when the usual green shade transforms into an impressive palette of colors. The crisp fall weather is perfect for a hike along the parks numerous trails where you will be able to do as much leaf peeing as you can possibly do and, if you’re lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of some wildlife.

Lake Arrowhead

Lake Arrowhead is located in San Bernardino amongst the San Bernardino mountains. We recommend heading over to the Lake Arrow Head resort where you will get to enjoy a leaf peeing tour by boat; the boat will gently float you along the perimeter of the lake where you will get a front row seat of the color-show mother nature prepares for us every year at around this time.
